A 14-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened on Winding Way just before 1:15 p.m.
The teen ran into the road to catch a skateboard when he was hit by a woman driving a Ford Escort. The driver stopped and stayed on scene.
The boy was taken to a local area hospital with critical injuries. His current condition is unknown at this time.
